The Task

Facelift & Internal Alignments

The shop site was in need of improvements both visually and architecturally. These improvements mainly entailed:

  • Mobile Responsive site design
  • More efficient and consistent site structure and IA
  • Minor improvements to checkout flow where possible
  • Visual Sync up to recent Public Site redesign

The Challenge

Picking Up,
Where Others Left Off

The site was implemented using a 3rd party cart system already approved by client management. In light of being pre-selected, any edits and improvements we made needed to be doable within the ability of this system.

The Hurdles

Crossing a Bridge,
While Building It

  • Learning the VP Cart system as we built the site.
  • Needed to find elaborate ways to to keep all edits within the scope of the cart admin system.
  • Solutions need to be able to accommodate for any future product additions
  • System based in .ASP, requiring a personal refresh in syntax and code structure

The  Solution

Be the Admin They Need,
Not the Admin They Want

A fully editable, re-skinned experience that is aligned with the recent updates made to the other HomeAgain web experiences (public site, conversion flows, member portal).
